Redbubble: Sell Your Art And Earn
Redbubble is a good platform for artists to establish their online shop globally. Artist just have to sell their art or designs and Redbubble will print that design on their 70 unique product like T-shirt, phone back cover, cup, caps, cushions, water bottles, home decor products etc., and sell on Redbubble website and commission is shared with the artist on which artist was agreed. The good thing is Redbubble can be operated through Laptop, personal computer or Smart phone, any device can be used. If you are not artist even though you can use Redbubble, which I have discussed at the end of article.
Redbubble: An Introduction
Redbubble was found in 2006. It is an Australian base company and it's having head office at Melbourne. It is also having its office San Francisco and Berlin. Redbubble is a global online market place for “Print on demand” products which are user self or artists. In March 2014 there were 51900 artist had sold their designs and generated $15 million earning and in 2021 total artist were 728000 and generated $104 million earning by selling their art or designs. Redbubble won many prizes and awards since 2008 like Interactive Media Award, Webby Award, Smart Company Award, Pixel Awards, Telstra business Award, Hermes Awards etc.
How Redbubble Work For Artists
Step1: Artist has to register at Redbubble, Then upload Arts or design to design from 70 unique products to open own shop.
Step2: Customer search Redbubble and find product they love and purchase from shop.
Step3: Products are produced, and shipped to customer globally by Redbubble.
Step4: Customer gets the product and Artist get earning.
How to Register and Establish Shop
Process is little bit lengthy but I am here to help in the registration process step wise and establishment of shop. First of all click on the following link,

As you click on link following window as in Pic-1 will open where “Artist Signup” is already selected and no need to select “Customer Signup”

Now fill your Email, Username and Password. Tick the option”Email me special offers and artist news, then press “Signup”, Then the following Dashboard window will open as in Pic-2 and a welcome mail will be received on the mail id which was submitted. Congratulation you have been registered to Redbubble but still we have few things to complete;

You will see 3 windows first “Create Product”, second “Set up Shop” and third “Get paid” on Dashboard window. Now let’s first establish the shop so click on “Add an Avtaar”. Avtaar is a kind of Logo you can set for your shop or some picture that represent your shop. You can make logo from any free logo maker site. Clicking on “Add an Avtaar” the following window will open as in Pic-3

Now click on “Choose the file” and select the Logo file from your Laptop or PC or Smartphone and then click on “Upload” then a next window will open as given below in Pic-4

Now fill the details in the “Profile” section just below “Cover image” section, the following window will seen as given in Pic-7, Fill all the detail First Name, Last Name, Display Name, Allow User to and Bio. While selecting option for “Allow User to” at least select “Send me Bubble Mail”. In Bio section write exaggerated about you as no one is asking for proof.

Now as we scroll down in the window “Notification” and “Copyright” will be shown as given in Pic-8. Leave them as it is.

Now scroll down in window and you will find “Off-site marketing” and “Image setting” as shown below in Pic-9. Leave them also as it is and click “Save Changes”.

You will get the message “Your Profile was successfully saved” as show in the Pic-10

Now we will set the payment details so click on “Edit Payment Detail” but we will get the message “Your email address has not been confirmed” as shown below in Pic 11

We will press the “Resend Confirmation” then we will open the mail and click the link which we have received in confirmation mail then it will lead to following window as shown in Pic12 with message “Thanks your email address has been confirmed”

Now, click on “Edit Payment Detail” on this page and scroll down. Fill all details in “Residential Address”. Scroll down and you will find “Postal Address” click on check box if it is same, if not then fill all the details. Scroll down then you will find “Getting Paid” option (Fill it very carefully), where “Payment Currency- I want t be played in” option in given, select carefully “United State Dollars (USD) - PayPal or ACH Bank Transfer”, as shown in Pic-13

If you have PayPal account then its ok if you do not have PayPal account then please open PayPal account first then choose this “Option1”. It will direct you to the next window as show below in Pic-14 click on “Connect with PayPal” it will enter to your PayPal account and then verify there and return back to Pic-13 window.

Choose “Option 2” if you know the “Routing Number” of your bank account, fill that and then fill rest details, Bank Account Number, Account Holder Name, Account type. Scroll down and click on “Save Changes”. You will get the message “Your details were successfully saved”. Congratulation, your shop is opened now and account is linked.
Shop is setup and payment details are linked but we do not have any goods in shop for selling, so, let’s full our shop with goods. Now click on “Dashboard” or you can click on top right corner on logo and then on “Sell your Art”. It will direct to the following window as shown in Pic-15

Now click on “Add designs” which will lead to another window as given below in Pic 16

Now press upload and choose your Art work or design from your PC, Laptop or Smartphone. As you select an art then it will lead to new window as shown below in Pic-17

In this window, you will see your art or design with few details to be filled. Fill “Title”, “Tag” (separated by comma) and “description” as above in Pic 17 then scroll down and you will see magic of Redbubble, you will see the products of yours shop. Under Each product you will see two option “Edit” and “Disable/Enable” as shown in Pic 18 below

Now Edit each picture which require and if product is “Disable” then press “Enable” to include in shop then scroll down and the following window will be seen as shown below in Pic-19

Fill the details and press “Save Work” Then it will lead to another window as shown below Pic 20. You will see Product on models in this page and description is given by you earlier.

There are two option on right hand side “View” and “Edit”. If you click on “view” you will see product with prices. Now the important thing, Click on Your Logo top right side of page and select “Dashboard” , It will lead to “Dashboard” window . Scroll down and find “Tips for new sellers” and click on “Review your product price” which will lead to another window which given as follows as in Pic 21

In this page you will see Retail Price, Your Margin and Markup. “Retail Price” is the rate decided for sale, “Your Margin” is your margin which your will get after sale, “Markup” is percentage margin, You can change your Markup e.g. If You want to change 20% into 30% just type 30 under Markup and select “Apply to all” just under that. This way you can increase your margin.
