How much Gengo translator earn
For standard translation Gengo starts with $0.03 per word and after qualifying Pro level, earning upgraded to $0.08 per word. Gengo translator earning depends on speed and the language pair in which translator is doing his/her work. For example; if your native language is Indonesian then you can earn about $300 monthly average and if your native language is French, then monthly average $550 can be earned. In Year 2021 $7.7 million paid to translators.
How to become a Gengo translator
Now you must be thinking how to become a Gengo translator and how you can apply for that, but before applying to become translator, you must know that you have to give two qualification tests with in their application process. Now just click on the following link;

After clicking on the link you will get the following window as shown in the Pic-1

Just fill your email address and password. Click on the radio button and accept the terms and policy of Gengo. You can also create your Gengo Account through facebook or Google account. As you fill the details and click on ‘Create New Account’, then you will get the mail as shown in Pic-2 as below;

Now click on ‘Activate Account’ then you will be directed to your Gengo account ‘Dashboard’ as shown in Pic-3;

Now fill details and tax declaration as shown in Pic-4, as you click on ‘Continue’ after tax declaration you will get next window about translation experience as shown in Pic-5, fill the details and click on ”Continue” .

Now, you will be directed to next step that is “Tests” as shown in Pic-6; here you have to select the pair of translation and then you have to start the Pre test. Pre Test is small and simple and you will get three chances to qualify. Before starting for test it is my advice to click on “Resources” on your Dashboard read it carefully. After qualifying for Pre test you will have to qualify Standard test. After passing the standard test you can start work as translator.
